In order to understand the process of formation of the passive voice,it is too important to understand very well the distiction between a transitive verb and an intransitive verb.
A transitive verb is the one which needs a direct complement to complete its meaning. In another hand, the intransitive verb is the one which does not need a direct object, and it can function on its own, without any direct object.
But we must be careful, because a lot of verbs can be both transitive and intransitive. How is that? Ok, this video will enlight us.
